We love what we do, and we love our clients. Being of help to others is the highest value in life, and as small business owners with local family businesses, our clients are truly driven to make a difference in their communities. We believe that such people make a thriving economy for everyone, and that they should be given every financial help possible.
A bridge between the worlds of creativity and finance
By definition, business owners are unusual people who create their own systems and business models rather than fitting into existing ones. We are accustomed to each client having a unique and “uncommon” financial situation. We analyze each person’s individual finances and provide them with custom mortgage solutions that will get them what they are looking for. We aim to do this with minimal paperwork and disturbance necessary, so that they can focus on their work.
We see ourselves as a bridge between the world of the business owner and the world of real estate financing. These worlds speak different languages but ultimately want the same things. We provide “translation,” analysis and custom. out-of-the-box solutions. We broker financial deals that are a win-win for everyone.
Our core values:
Access to financing based on financial performance, not arbitrary “rules”—Anyone who consistently makes enough income to be able to afford a certain mortgage loan should be able to get that loan. We help our clients navigate the sometimes arbitrary rules of the lending industry in relation to self-employed borrowers and structure creative solutions so that they can get the mortgage they deserve.
Minimal bureaucracy—Getting a mortgage loan should not involve a mountain of irrelevant paperwork that makes you unable to do your own work. We use loan programs that keep paperwork to a minimum, and we work behind the scenes to solve most challenges that come up, bothering our clients as little as possible.
Relationship-based service—We appreciate you and your business and consider you a valuable client. Our aim is to create a long-term relationship, providing excellent service so that you are happy to return to us for more service and refer your family and friends.
Excellent rates and value for money—We believe mortgage brokers should have fair fees and offer very good interest rates that are significantly better than those offered to self-employed borrowers at mainstream banks. While we are not legally allowed to say that we have the best rates for self-employed borrowers, our clients often tell us that they have not been able to find better rates anywhere else! We provide top-quality customer service that starts well before the loan application—helping clients get qualified, helping to increase credit scores, and providing advice on properties—sometimes beginning months or even years before any transaction takes place. We enjoy providing such personal service, and to make this possible we charge a fee slightly above average in the mortgage broker industry. Beyond price, for many of our clients the difference with using our services is that they are finally able to get the financing they needed when they couldn’t get it anywhere else. You only pay for a mortgage transaction when it closes, and our clients regularly provide us with rave reviews about the value they receive from us.
